PVC pricing stabilizes without renewed pricing power

PVC’s decline has stopped, but weak end-market conditions are preventing price increases. That suggests limited near-term pricing leverage for distributors and manufacturers exposed to PVC-heavy water infrastructure products.

On the bright side, we're encouraged that PVC pricing has stabilized and been in a pretty flattish mode as opposed to its continual decline that we've been living through for the last period. That part of it has been pretty good. But we have just seen an inability, I guess, of the market, given where it's at, to support any pricing increases.
